Profile
Born in 1986 in Ibaraki, Japan.
Began his career in vehicle development and engineering at an affiliated company of one of Japan's leading automobile manufacturers.
Later worked as an automotive technician at a vehicle repair workshop, acquiring practical expertise in vehicle maintenance and craftsmanship.
Through experience in both engineering and hands-on vehicle servicing, developed a comprehensive understanding of the automobile from the perspectives of both its creator and its owner.
A defining turning point came through meeting Toshihiko Ohno, one of Japan's foremost carrozzeria coachbuilders.
Inspired by Ohno's philosophy and the rich heritage of carrozzeria coachbuilding—the pursuit of creating a truly one-of-a-kind automobile through design and craftsmanship—he decided to establish his own design studio.
He founded T.O.DESIGN and began the design and development of its inaugural project, BT6.
Drawing upon years of experience across multiple disciplines within the automotive industry, he completed the BT6, expressing his vision of timeless automotive beauty through contemporary design and engineering.
